The ACCC have put the Lighting Industry on notice in regards to Resale Price Maintenance. In February we were joined at our forums by guest speakers from Cornwalls Law and Bennett Litigation and Commercial Law who informed members and attendees about this issue.

Join Trudie Enks (ACCC) and Malcolm Richards (LCA) as they discuss the Do’s and Don’ts of Resale Pricing Maintenance. Trudie will make a presentation on the key issues and allow time for questions from Lighting Council and industry members.

A Word about our Guest Speaker – Trudie Enks

Trudie is a Director within the Competition Division of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). Trudie has worked with the ACCC for almost 20 years in a variety of enforcement roles during which she has been involved in a number of complex investigations, assessment of cartel immunity applications, policy review, and international and domestic competition advocacy.

Trudie currently works in the Competition Advocacy team, which advocates with domestic and international stakeholders to promote more competitive markets. We also undertake outreach work to encourage compliance with Australian competition law, by educating and informing consumers and traders about their rights and responsibilities.

Trudie holds a Master of Global Competition and Consumer Law from the University of Melbourne Law School, and a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University.
